- A public visitation will be held at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, Rapid City, SD, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- A Memorial Service celebrating the life of John Aberle will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church of Rapid City, with Pastor Elaine Greene officiating.
- Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Rapid City, South Dakota.
In lieu of flowers, the Aberle family requests that memorial donations be made in John’s name to the Rapid City Youth Mentorship Fund, supporting educational and leadership programs for local youth.
